Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Bluetooth & WiFi Analyzer on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.
  4. Wait a few seconds for the installation to complete. Once done, the installed app will appear on the BlueStacks home screen. Click its icon to start using the application.

This app will only tell you information you can get from settings concerning Bluetooth. There are two other options available on the menu. One option is under construction. If you attempt to look at your Wi-Fi, the app closes itself. It's most likely an error. It's not worth your time, energy, or space.

Bt and wifi coexistance not available. Still under development... click bate... also crashed with in 10 seconds of viewing bluetooth. Uninstalled. Complete waste of time

This app is for general users and even developers.
It let users and developers do standalone test of each bluetooth and wifi, and also coexistence test like examining both concurrently.

[Bluetooth]
- Supports very detailed Bluetooth BR/EDR(Classic device) information of your host/controller device.
- Supports very detailed connection information of all supported profiles.
- Supports BR/EDR scan.
- Supports very detailed Bluetooth LE information of host/controller configurations.
- Supports BLE Scan
1) Setting ble scan filter and ble scan settings.
2) BLE scanning to get ble advertisement(beacon) based on your filter and scan settings.
- Supports BLE Advertise
1) Setting advertise data and advertise settings.
2) Advertising beacons for BLE scanner based on your configuration.
- Supports using both scan and advertise
* Basically, most of BT controller doesn't support peripheral mode. It means that some devices cannot run scan and advertise in the same time.
* If your device supports peripheral mode, you can concurrently use both in this application.

[WiFi]
- Supports WiFi scan with 2.4GHz and 5GHz.
Note that you need to allow location permission for WiFi scan on android 6+
- Supports very detailed information of WiFi adapter.
- Supports very detailed information of connected network.
- Supports frequency, bandwidth, signal strength, dhcp info and so on.
- Supports WiFi speed test with iperf tool.
Note that the iperf is for local network speed test rather than internet speed.
- Supports WiFi enhanced energy reporting feature.
Note that this feature supported on android 5+ and WiFi chip-set should support it.

[Bluetooth & WiFi Coexistence]
- Under construction!
Note that this function will be supported at future update.
- We will make tests for coexistence of Bluetooth and WiFi.
1) Sending and receiving WiFi packets and Bluetooth ACL data.
2) Sending and receiving WiFi packets and Bluetooth SCO data.
3) Using simultaneously Bluetooth LE scan, advertise(beacons), Bluetooth ACL/SCO, and WiFi 2.4GHz.
