Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing ChronoProf on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.
  4. Wait a few seconds for the installation to complete. Once done, the installed app will appear on the BlueStacks home screen. Click its icon to start using the application.

Using LDPlayer

  1. Download and install LDPlayer from https://www.ldplayer.net.

Was looking for an app to silence my worksim during evenings and weekends, while keeping my private sim with sound. Created my own profile and seems to work well. One thing I would love to see would be to be able to combine profiles and prioritise. Like every evening and weekend I only silence my work sim, but certain hours I want to silence both sims and all other sounds. Because I can activate only one profile at once that's not possible to schedule atm.

About this app

ChronoProf is an Android app that provides timed profiles such as Outdoor, Quiet, Silent, etc. You can configure a profile and apply it for a particular period, i.e. set Outdoor profile for 2 hours. You can configure WiFi, Bluetooth, Autosync, ringtone, media and notification volumes.

It can also set profiles at particular days and times, e.g. switch to Quiet every Tuesday morning at 9am, or switch WiFi on every evening.

Profiles can also be invoked from other apps such as Tasker, see website for more details.
