Can't seem to select subdirectories of sdcard. With regular expressions and extensions filtering, it's on the right path but not as easy to use as another one, imho.

The reason I got this app was to search files in DroidEdit. It's great at doing that, but if you have DroidEdit pro, you can use Dropbox, and SMTP (I use SMTP) but you can't search those files. Not only that, but you can't even load files on the SD Card.

This looks like it could be a great app but, when I tried to test it out, it doesn't work. I created a text file in /sdcard/ with DroidEdit and then searched for the text I had added to the file, making sure to add the extension I saved it with but, no results.

was about to buy the DroidEdit after try out free and found out that this app is the extension for the file extension. Unfortunately, no out put after search. 1 star. Why? You haven't updated this app for about 3 years. Afraid you are doing the same with the DroidEdit. So, I'm not purchasing it until this app is updated.

Used to work on Galaxy Note 1, Jelly Bean. Doesn't work on Note 3, Kitkat.

Android 4.1 JB Galaxy Note 2 and droidgrep did grep and return expected results from a txt file on either sdcard0 or extSdCard. However, I chose the agrep app instead. Agrep finds hits AND if you press on a hit agrep will open the input file and position to the highlighted grep string.
