EDIT: For a similar experience, I'd recommend AVL Pro for now by the same company. The database successfully updates to the current daily update, even if the app itself was last updated a year ago. Also, in all fairness to the speed of the app, it seems to take so long because it does a lot of additional checks and extracts parts of the files rather than just doing an app fingerprint check. Try to update the database, and I keep getting the error "Update Fails".

The interface is unintuitive and the app gives you very little information about what it's doing and why certain files get flagged as "risky". Sometimes the scan stalls at a certain percentage and has to be restarted. This is one of those apps where a "minimalist interface" didn't really work out. Wouldn't recommend this app.

Detected the virus but also detected core system files as suspicious. I was dumb and deleted the system files not knowing what they were and it broke my phone so I had to factory reset it. This is a good app as long as you Google the results of suspicious files or the devs can work on the detection engine a little. Either way it does its job as long as the user is wise.

I have to turn my mobile to read for what the buttons are. The round optic is difficult. And I can't make 1 time a full scan? I don't know it's good or bad. I can't find out what it does. Less is sometimes NOT more. You need more Information.

Horribly slow. I have very little on my phone that is not factory install and it took 42 minutes to scan. Five things were flagged as RISKY and they were all Android, Google related. Uninstalling and looking for something more favorable.

I did a scan & this app picked up 5 risky files & 1 malicious file (LibSisoCameraDistortionEffects.so)! Immediately I set AVL to clear file - IT FAILED TO REMOVE IT saying clear process fail! I eventually did factory reset. Now here's the thing, after factory reset the ONLY app I download was AVL; I scanned again...again same malicious file found & AVL failed to remove it. Surely this shows that AVL is unreliable!
