About this app

A concept app for face mask detection on live camera stream or photos🤩🤩

How to use the app
Just open the app and add a photo from the gallery or use the live detection feature to detect mask from camera ,Then the app will run the mask detection algorithm and will show the result with percentage(confidence in technical terms) and that's it 🎉.

👨‍💻How does it work? 👨‍💻
I collected many samples of selfies/photos of people with a face mask and without a face mask and created an image classification model in tensor flow lite. That model helps the machine to recognize whether there is a mask in the image or not and that's how it mask detection work.

The app does not have 100% accuracy and does not guarantee always a correct result

Important notice
-There must be a face in photo/camera stream
-The model currently does not detect multiple faces
-The input image/stream must have a CLOSE face.
-Camera detection only works on vertical video stream.
-It is just a concept app not anything more than that.
