About this app

Convert, Transliterate or "Translate" in a sense your contact names from any language to ISO basic Latin (English) letters alphabet and several other scripts in order to achieve similar phonetic result. You can preview the result before converting and also restore to the original names at any time after the conversion.
You can convert limited number of contacts in free edition.
By converting the contact names you can :
- view contacts on every car Bluetooth device that does not support non Latin languages letters.
- send or show contacts to foreign speakers
- be compatible with apps that do not support "unicode" characters

Examples:
Russian "Кузьма" will be converted to "Kuzma"
Chinese "昌" will be converted to Chang
Japanese "アキラ" or "あきら" will be converted to "Akira"
French "Adélaïde" will be converted to "Adelaide"
Greek "Κώστας" will be converted to "Kostas"
Georgian "თამაზ" will be converted to to "Tamaz"

Features:
- Convert - transliterate contact names to Latin English characters and several other scripts from original written language
- Remove accents and diacritics from contact names letters written in a Latin language that use accents like French, German, Dutch, Spanish etc.
- Selection of original language. Only letters from original language will be converted.
- Preview conversion and select which contact names to convert from a list (or all).
- Select and restore converted contacts to the original name at any time.
- Option to show only contacts with phone number for conversion
- Save selection list of contact names to convert. Thus you can convert and restore as often as you like a specific set of contacts.
- Backup contacts to the device storage by exporting original and converted contacts to two separate vcf files.
- Import contacts from vcf file. Preview import is available before importing

All major non Latin languages or Latin languages with accented letters are supported as source language:
