This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Hindi Contacts to Latin on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

About this app

Convert, Transliterate or "translate" in a sense Hindi contact names to ISO basic Latin (English) letters alphabet and other Hindi scripts with similar phonetic result. You can restore the original names at any time after the conversion.

In addition this app includes an option to export and import contacts to and from vcard file (vcf)

By converting the contact names you can :
- send or show contacts to foreign speakers
- be compatible with apps that do not support "unicode" characters
- view contacts on Bluetooth devices that does not support non ISO Latin languages letters.

Examples converting to Roman (English) script:
"अदीला" will be converted to "Adila"
"मोहिनी" will be converted to "Mohini"
"रत" will be converted to "Ratna"
"नीलिमा" will be converted to "Nilima"

Features:
- Convert - transliterate Hindi contact names to ISO Latin (English) characters from Hindi. Source and target scripts supported: Hindi (Devanagari), Bengali, Malayalam, Oriya, Kannada, Tamil, Telugu.
