This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Remove Accents from Contacts on PC Windows and Mac.

Accents and diacritics in latin letters could some times cause problems like wrong sorting order of contacts, incomplete results in search or difficulties in finding duplicate entries. If you have noticed such problems in your phone's contacts app you can use this app to remove accents automatically and check if the problems are gone. If you want later the accents in the names back you can restore them at any time with this app.

"Adélaïde" will be converted to "Adelaide"
"Bösch" will be converted to "Bosch"
"Bjørn" will be converted to "Bjorn"
