About this app

As a part of Ambimat’s IoT division we have built a cold chain monitoring solution which solves multiple challenges that exist with today’s temperature data loggers. With several months of efforts we have built a paper thin data logger which is stick-able on any regular surface, can be wirelessly interfaced with a mobile device and can be used to record temperatures over a specified interval.

With an on-board memory, a battery, a temperature sensor and an Near Field Communication interface the logger doesn't need to connect to any computer system. Simply place your NFC enabled cell phone over the label and within a matter of seconds, your data will be captured. With a click of a button it can be uploaded to a secure cloud and can be either viewed locally on your device or on the cloud.

Ambimat’s Smart label has been able to solve all existing challenges with data loggers and further add some more features to make the device more user friendly:

Sleekness: The label is 50mm X 34mm X 1mm in dimension. It simply sticks to any surface and will start recording temperatures of the surface and it’s surroundings. There is a battery, an Real time clock, a large non-volatile memory, a temperature sensor and an NFC antenna all within this form factor.

User friendly: The label doesn’t look anything like the present loggers. It is a sticker with an on-board battery and users can simply communicate with the label over NFC.

Itemized temperature profiling: The label, due to it’s flexible nature and form factor can stick to individual items such as vials, bottles, even saches and tablet strips.

No Need to be connected over USB to a computer: The label works just like any other RFID tag and can communicate the data over NFC to a phone. The label uses NXP’s state of the art NFC technology to make the product extremely user friendly. The time between scanning the tag to sending it’s data to the cloud is <5 seconds

In-Expensive: The label is a highly cost effective solutions as compared to the existing loggers
Easily changeable Data logging intervals: The data logging intervals can be changed using a mobile phone application.

Low memory footprint: The label can store up to 19,500 samples in it’s non-volatile memory

Data Analytics: The label can provide analytics by date range, time range, item, location, etc.

New features

Support for Fahrenheit scale added.
Updated limits of temperature recording to maximum and minimum temperature values of the temperature sensor
Support for local time zones added in CSV file
