The watch out of nowhere is showing the wrong time with the analog hands but correct on the AMOLED display. The second time zone changed from Chicago to London. And everything is resetet steps, calories..... .The battery went from 65% to 11%. I thing we are very patient with you to sort things out, but everything has its own limitations. I have said it before and I'm saying it again the watch in this state is unusable.

Useless app in Android, tried a number of android phones and cannot connect to any of them, however when trying to connect watch just to bluetooth the phone sees it and connects. Then borrowed a friend's Apple and it connected immediately. Don't bother wasting your time trying to get it to work on any android phone. Waste of time and money.

You'd expect from a Swiss watch maker they'd strive to be the best and produce a top qaulity product. Failing risks one's name and reputation.. what a shame then It doesn't work with my Samsung devices or other android products tried. Even when the install instructions are followed to the the letter, it responds with a constant flow of error messages and a cyclic event asking for verification codes that do not work either. Very Poor! Much like Alpina's customer care services for the UK .

Testing with the Alpiner X Alive. A lot of bugs and problems. At first the development team was responsive. But that stopped soon and not much progress is made to solve the remaining problems. Support for notifications is still limited to a few apps. You cannot see who's calling you or accept or reject a call. The app is slow to start and often crashes. Connection to the watch is easily lost , so chances are you will miss the few notifications that work. The watch will not reconnect by itself if connection is lost. This is the biggest problem with this watch. Emoticons show as question and exclamations marks. Vibration is too soft, you never feel them. Battery sometimes goes from 100% to 11% in 5 minutes. Simply said: stay away from these watches.

This app and the software in the watch is a drama! Bluetooth disconnections many times a day, notifications you can't read most of the time, there is no way to power off the watch and the heart sensor is always on even if you don't wear the watch (what a clever software!). So even if you don't wear it, the battery drain is about 20% per day!!! Alpina I thought you were a serious company. Simply putting a cheap Chinese module with problematic firmware, software and hardware is not acceptable.

I've had this since the first connect Alpina watch, I now can't log into my account, and the app won't go past the login screen.. making it totally useless! UPDATE>>> UN-install this version, go to search "Alpina app apk" download any of the 9.XX<< It will then work. You will have to turn off Googles AUTO-UPDATE feature because once it updates to this 10.XX it will stop working again.
