My phone, LG V20, is an amazing phone and it has a feature where I can double tap the screen to wake it up or initiate the sleep mode. Unfortunately, that means that it is prone to turning on when it is my shirt pocket. This app removes that issue. Thank you.

Doesn't work! Installed it recently but last night rubbish text messages were automatically sent from my phone. I thought this app would've prevented that happening?!

About this app

What is Pocket Protector?
Pocket Protector is the best app to prevent accidental screen touches while your phone is in your pocket. No more pocket dialing, pocket texting, or accidentally rearranging and deleting the icons on your home screen. If your phone is off when you put it in your pocket, rest assured it won't come back on.

How does Pocket Protector work?
Pocket Protector uses a custom algorithm along with sensors on your phone to accurately determine if your phone is in your pocket. No need to mess with a ton of different options like in many other apps. We've done the work for you. If your phone is in your pocket, Pocket Protector will prevent it from accidentally turning on.

How does Pocket Protector perform?
Despite being always on to protect you, Pocket Protector should not have any impact to the battery life or performance of your phone whatsoever.

PLEASE NOTE: In order to ensure your screen stays off in your pocket, this app must be an admin on your device. The only admin permission it has is to turn off the screen.
