Just A Kitchen Timer is a simple, efficient and easy to use kitchen timer application that will help you time any of the meals you are preparing.

Selecting a minute
Selecting a time is easy – just click anywhere inside the timer or around it and the minute you have currently chosen will be shown on the screen. When you are happy with your choice, simply click the Start button. Moreover, the application has two types of minute selection:
• Fast – by clicking inside the bounds of the white circle you can select every 5th minute;
• Standard – clicking anywhere outside the aforementioned circle allows for selecting every one minute;

Editing
If you want to change your current minute, you do not have to stop or reset the timer. Simply click the icon next to the Start/Pause button and you will enter the Edit Time menu. There, you can choose your new minute. Moreover, you do not have to worry about losing your current time, because no new countdown will start unless you confirm any changes you have made. Also, the current time and newly chosen minute are displayed with different colours.

Resetting
For convenience, the kitchen timer comes equipped with a reset button that helps clear any currently set time.

General Features

• Unlocks(only for swipe/no screen lock) and wakes the device when the timer finishes;
• Provides adjustments for the volume and the ringtone;
• Supports vibration to indicate a finished timer;
• A red dot placed on the outlines of the timer shows the last minute that was set.
• Designed both for phones and tablets in either portrait or landscape orientation;

Special Features
The application aims to preserve the workflow of the user as well as the battery of the device. It seems unreasonable to let the ringtone of the timer repeat itself for an extended period, needlessly draining the device’s battery. For that reason, Just A Kitchen Timer provides two special features:
• A maximum fixed number of seconds that the alarm will be sounded – long enough to be heard, but not too long to drain your battery (can be chosen from the Settings).
• “Beeping Reminder”, which plays a short audible beep, that repeats every few seconds, to remind you that the timer has finished and it needs to be confirmed (can be turned On/Off from the Settings).

Also, the size of the displayed minutes and seconds is quite large to make it easy to see them even when you’re away from the device.
