Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing ToTranslit on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.
  4. Wait a few seconds for the installation to complete. Once done, the installed app will appear on the BlueStacks home screen. Click its icon to start using the application.

Using LDPlayer

  1. Download and install LDPlayer from https://www.ldplayer.net.
  2. Drag the APK/XAPK file directly into LDPlayer.

About this app

English - Russian - Custom alphabets.
ToTranslit allows the user to swap alphabet letters in input text quickly and conveniently. Main advantage of ToTranslit is that user can add, remove and change character in base table. If you want to create your own base table – no problems. Just click settings button. Converted text can be shared with one click of a button. Main screen contains language picker at the top, input text below box and output text box at the bottom. Just start typing in the top box - application will change letters accordingly and will display result in the bottom box. There is a menu picker in top-right corner. Copy button will copy result into clipboard, Paste button will paste content of clipboard into top box, Delete button will clear boxes, Share button allows to share result via text, Facebook, e-mail, etc. Application comes with predefined languages: Russian >>> English and English >>> Russian. You can make changes to this tables. Click on preferences menu option, then press and hold languages title. Dialog box that pops up allows you to add symbol to this table. Case check-box allows to add upper and lower case symbols at the same time. ToTranslit allows you user to create, edit and to delete language tables. In order to create new table go to preferences, then tap New button. Type in the boxes provided a source language and a result language for example Greek in left box, and English into right box. Delete button allows to delete current table. Copy button allows to make a copy of a table using different name. To restore initial tables press and hold Delete button.
