Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Rainbow Softphone on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.

The Rainbow Softphone app allows you to make and receive phone calls via your Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise communication system (OmniPCX Enterprise, OXO Connect) using WebRTC VoIP.

It allows to :
. Make and receive PBX phone calls from your mobile, with your PBX extension identity
. Use VoIP for your calls
. Make second call, transfer, conference
. Program call forwarding to voice mail or any other phone number

Use of Rainbow Sofphone application requires:
. A Rainbow account with a Business or Enterprise service plan.
. A PBX extension associated with your Rainbow account.
. A WebRTC Gateway for managing VoIP calls.
