I really cannot see the point of this app, especially if you have the IP address of the device saved in your browser. If the included and displayed every user definable option then it would be 5 stars but the app doesn't even show the amount of data used since a sim was inserted. All other MIFI modems I have owned have all shown complete data used on the display but this one resets it every time the device is switched on.

I'm using Alcatel pop C7. I am connected to my wifi and it says no wifi connection. And why we need to connect to hotspot? Thats a waste. Fix it and I'll give 5 star.

Does not show connect even after conected through alcatel vodafone wifi . It says no wifi connection and after click to refresh button page goes to wifi setting and their I can see that alcatel wifi already connected. Please help or I need to thro7gh this device. Even after many visit of vodafone store I did not get any satisfactory response from them

What is a strong negative point about this Smartlink app, is , that once connected to the Y800z, it tells you that there is an update firmware available and it asks you to connect via your computer to 192.168.1.1.. You than get to the interface to see the settings , but there is no update button available (under system settings menu). Please correct this asap, because there is no other way to update firmware..

Comparing to Huawei HiLink, Alcatel Onetouch app doesn't have in-app configuration settings and unable to acces storage (got SD card slot and useless). I hope that in the future, all dev able to add up these into next update (probably no one cares about this app anymore and so no more supporting this app).

This app has a better UI than the WebGUI, but unfortunately, it offers less features than the WebGUI. Without feature parity, this app is useless.
