You tap on one of the categories: "Which apps can watch me", or, "Which apps can make purchases". You click the app, and remove permissions as you please. A wallpaper app doesn't require phone and SMS access. So, you remove those permissions. When you install a new app, you can check that it is safe! You can long tap, and get a list of dangerous permissions allowed for each app, if any. Paranoid is indispensible for Android users. At least try it and see for yourself!

I really enjoyed this app and it does exactly what it says. and it does not ask you for any permissions it's only informs you of other applications on your phone that are asking for permissions that maybe a little bit suspicious and you can take a look and decide for yourself whether or notyou would like to decline permission or altogether remove the app. This was a helpful app that informed me of third-party apps that were collecting my information without me even realizing. A+ 💚

Very good. It deserves all five stars, no ads, no tracking and unnecessary permissions. Changing design and adding other languages that I request.

What an incredibly thoughtful and easy-to-understand app. You know every time you download an app and you have no time to read all the consent. And even if you did to what you're signing to agree to it's in legal ease. This app breaks down exactly what each app does on your phone. In simple language. They say knowledge is power and it's also way to keep yourself a being paranoid. Thank you creators of this app . I appreciate your hard work

I've been gone for a couple of days and what I've seen on my Android device was a dwelling community posts and comments about how ffffffkkkk up hackers are putting malicious apps and i can't even begin to describe what i saw. I spent hours looking for a answer to as how and why my phone has been so fkkkkkxx up. Even after all the illegal shxtt that i read on google community and how my phone literally made to just edit permissions is nothing beyond what some of these low kum dumpsters were up to

This is a handy tool to have on your phone. It keeps you from having to go through each and every app to check permissions and then decide whether the app actually needs all permissions requested. Sometimes I would not think an app needed a permission that come to find out it had good reason for it. Just simplifies by analyzing those things for you then makes a recommendation based on what it finds. It doesnt remove anything or turn off any permissions. This just gives you the info you need to make that final decision of whether or not to delete the app yourself. Saves me TONS of time from investigating. Thanx developers! A+ to you!

About this app

Paranoid for Android analyzes all the apps installed on your device to identify apps which could be spying on you. It does this by analyzing the combination of permissions granted to each app.

For example, an app which can determine your exact location is fine: an app that can determine your location and report it back to someone else using SMS or the internet is more risky. A well-known messaging app which also tracks your location and your phone calls for no valid reason is definitely questionable, as many people have only just discovered.

This is a free app: if you like it or find it useful, please consider buying me a coffee (in app purchase) to encourage future development.
