Does exactly what it needs to!! Everyone who says it won't solve, just remember to put x= in front of the equation - it even says that in the tutorial. Please don't uninstall because you don't understand it! You can save your equation, only thing missing is pi.

It's great but I have a slight problem, we have some equations in which we need to find x without knowing all the other variables (example: a=? p=2(a+b))

won't do basic distributive property which was the only reason I got the app and the addition multiplication division and subtraction signs are kinda small but this isint a equation solver because it couldnt even solv for x like other calculators tried to do the problem was fairly simple test problem it was 8(d-5)+12 but it couldnt manage it said it was not a equation so yeah bad app uninstalled

It checks values from -1000 to 1000. If your answer is out of this domain, then don't install this app. Nevertheless, since it serves my purpose, I'm happy to give it 5 stars.
