I don't know what the fuss is about. I purchased the lights, but didn't read any app reviews. After reading so many poor reviews, I was worried. It turns out, I had jothing to worry about and I've connected to both of my lights no issue. The app seems quite good and in-depth, I can even set up my own templates, so the lights react differently with one tap of the app.

The basics work. When using the color wheel, you can't choose an orange color. You should also be able to choose the colors that the Dynamic modes use. Update: I just discovered the Effect Mixer and it's a rudimentary way to sequence colors across lamps. Luckily, there are a couple examples to learn from as I didn't see it in the docs.

Works as advertised. Wants to access your location and much more for some reason. Can't setup lights for more than 1 phone at a time.

ok app but found the only way to connect to the device is to make sure my gps is also turned on. which could be why so many people are having difficulty finding their lights. i wish i didnt have to have location turned on as i have to be within 10 metres of the device for it to work anyway.

galaxy 7 edge. at first the app found the light and worked well. the next day, it could not connect/find the lamp.Went into settings and made sure all permissions allowed, would not connect. re setting, re installing, different phone, nothing works. App is useless which makes the light useless.
