This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing AgriCapture on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. This application allows you to wirelessly connect to an AgriGate or AgriNode, configure a sensor port for the sensor that you are looking to attach, choose a location that has great reception and perform a system check to visualize the overall health of the device.

The AgriCapture system allows you to monitor many types of sensors around your growing operation. These sensors can come in many variations of the following categories: Soil based sensors, Plant based, Weather based and irrigation based sensors.

This app simplifies the installation of these technologies, enabling the same guys that moved pipe in the morning to install sensor networks later the same day with minimal training.
