This is a great 3D data visualization tool designed for 3D design review and collaboration purpose. It supports the most popular 3D formats including STL, 3DS, VRML, OBJ and DAE. Those formats are widely used by the most popular 3D applications. With help of this app, you can view your 3D files with your phone (or tablet) directly no matter where you are and edit your review comments on the go.

The app provides many 3D application features including rotating model with finger movement, zooming in/out, changing object material color, changing rendering background color (or background image), changing rendering light intensity, etc. You can rotate 3D model in any direction, or only along x, y or z axis. The app also provides you a quick way to view model from front, back, top, bottom, left or right view direction. You can view model in 3D surface rendering or wireframe mode.

The app provides 3D screen capturing feature so that you can take a snapshot of 3D model, and add your remark to it through many drawing elements, including text, line, rectangle, circle, ellipse, free form, etc. Just move your finger on top of the snapshot and the app will draw the element you selected on top of it. You can undo/redo your editing operation and change different color, line width or stroke style. After you finish it, you can use the in-app email feature to send it out so that your coworker / contractor can learn your suggestions sooner than ever before.

You can load multiple files, view them together, and they don't have to be in the same format. The app also provides you scene management tools. You can add 3D elements to your model to help you understand it better. It supports adding points, markers, boxes and spheres. They can be added to any location or in any size. You can even use the app to delete some parts of 3D model so that you can focus on the parts you are interested in.

You can also use it to find out information about your files, for instance, the file size, the height, width and depth of your model, total surface area, total length, etc.

The app can load file from any folder of your mobile device. But the easiest way is to add the files to the app's home folder called 'afanche'. Just connect your phone (or tablet) to a PC and copy 3D models to the 'afanche' folder of the device. After that, you can use the app to open the models. You can use the app to open files from email (attachment) or web (by downloading) as well. The app supports third party file management app, for instance, DropBox, Box, etc. If you have zipped 3D files, you can either use the app to unzip them first, or just load the zipped 3D model directly.

Please make sure you use the Menu button of your device. Many features of the app are only visible after you press Menu button.

The app provides native support for multimedia including image, video and audio. This way, you can manage picture or video of your project and 3D files together. The app provides features for you to have a peek at the raw data of files in ASCII (text) or binary format.
