Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Thyme-IT on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.
  4. Wait a few seconds for the installation to complete. Once done, the installed app will appear on the BlueStacks home screen. Click its icon to start using the application.

Using LDPlayer

  1. Download and install LDPlayer from https://www.ldplayer.net.

About this app

The Thyme-IT App is a solution specifically designed for companies that submit customs declarations to Irish and UK Customs Authorities. It allows Transit Declarations to be recorded and submitted to customs.

The App may be used by the authorised consignee to submit Arrival Notification messages to Irish Revenue or HMRC when goods arrive on a transit declaration at the authorised consignee’s premises. The subsequent NCTS messages (Unloading Permission or Arrival Notification Rejection) should be viewed and processed using the Thyme-IT NCTS web-based application.

The MRN for the Arrival Notification may entered manually or scanned using the camera of the device. The App has logic to avoid submitting duplicate MRNs. Multiple different MRNs may be scanned and will be added to the MRN List, with the most recent appearing at the top.

The App will be configured to connect to the Thyme-IT web-based application. Thyme-IT will provide the Server address, port and company code during initial registration.

Within the App a template may be chosen, which will provide default values for data items that are not entered within the App. Once selected, this template is used for all subsequent uploads until changed.
