Didn't solve the problem of skipping HTC locations. When inputting event in calender the locations icon will only take you to HTC locations. Is exactly the same as other app " select other map for HTC v1.0" for this situation.

My HTC One XL wouldn't load calendar locations, because HTC Locations doesn't work. This app does exactly what it says, and thanks to Google Maps being a pretty clever thing, it makes the location feature in Calendar useful again. Good work :)

This is great, thank you for making it. HTC should stop making these kind of apps that don't add value but actually cripple the device. This is Android and Android works with Google Maps, that's it

Dit doet wat het belooft! je kan nu vanuit de calendar het adres aanklikken en kiezen voor google navigatie of een andere naar keuze Ik ben er helemaal tevreden mee !!

About this app

This App lets you bypass "HTC Locations" and select a map application of your choice when you want to display a location out of your contacts or calendar.

It is currently not the intention of this App to change the behaviour of the car dock mode.

Some HTC phones have "HTC Locations" installed and force you to use it prior to Google Maps or other maps.
So this App is relevant only for such phones having the Locations App pre-installed. On other devices it just doesn’t do anything.
Devices: One X, One S, Sensation, Desire HD/Z/S

The App cannot be started manually. It is just registered to intercept the start of "HTC Locations" under certain conditions.
It does not consume battery or resources.

Operation:
On first use (open a location in contacts or calendar) you are prompted to select either Location Picker or this App.
If you check the checkbox for “use by default” you will not be prompted again for this selection.
You can directly select between Google Maps or other installed map applications instead.
To undo the default selection, go to the Application settings of your phone, select this App and press the “Clear defaults” button.
