Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Tree Care on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.
  4. Wait a few seconds for the installation to complete. Once done, the installed app will appear on the BlueStacks home screen. Click its icon to start using the application.

I tried to email you regarding this but your mailbox is full. Please respond! I love the Tree Care app, but wish there would be the capability to save my info. Can you look into this update? Maybe just with a simple login. Also, I just lost all of my tree info & pictures because I had to replace my phone :( I have the Tree Care app installed on my new phone but can't get the full version because it days I've purchased it already. How do I get the full version? Thanks for your time! I love the app!

It would be perfect for residential tree services if you could all of the trees on a property in one email. I don't think it has that ability yet.

Love the ease of use! Mapped out all 50 plus trees and simply take a picture any time i do anything to them(prune,fertilize,etc) Great way to keep a record.

About this app

Tree Care - this app helps in outdoor gardening, care of garden plants and trees.

The application uses satellite Google maps for orientation and display the position of plants and trees on the terrain. GPS feature helps the user to navigate the terrain and see current location.

★ Tree. Each tree is recorded with the following fields: type, variety, label, icon to display on the map, planting date and comments. Also each tree has its photo gallery and a list of tasks. Warning, free version of the app has a limitation of 5 trees.

★ Photo. Each photo in the gallery has fields for date and comments. Optional attributes "Height" and "Harvest" help the user to control the growth of trees and analyze the yield of fruit trees. Photos are stored in a separate folder on SD card and do not mix with other photos in the Smartphone.

★ Task. Each task has fields for name, date and comments, as well as "Done" attribute. If a tree has some not completed tasks then this tree is highlighted on the map with the number of overdue tasks. Samples of tasks could be: watering, pruning, fertilizing, etc.

Entry of repeatable text fields (such as type, variety, name) is simplified with drop-down lists of suggestions.

The user can view tasks for each tree as well as see all the available tasks. Each entry has a menu option "Find on map", which is useful for determining the location of a specific task or gallery item on the map.

The satellite maps are easy to navigate and control with two fingers: rotation (press and rotate with two fingers), increase or decrease the scale and tilt the map by sliding simultaneously two fingers up and down.

The "Share" function allows users to send an e-mail message with all the information gathered for a tree, including attachments of all photos of the tree.

In order to save battery power we recommend that you turn off the GPS feature when it is not in use.

Test the free version of the app and upgrade for $1.99 to full version if it fits your needs.
