This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Acronis True Image: Mobile on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.

Just installed the 2021-03-26 release, 5.1.8 build 1207. Cleared cache and data. The problem is still there. As of the 2021-03-24 update, the program is completely unable to do a backup. It scans through my files, but as soon as it should start having them up it simply closes. I haven't been able to do a backup since that update was installed.

Not to happy about this app even though the this company make great products like Acronis True Image for PC is absolutely amazing but this Mobile App is by far the worst app I've used for Mobile backups as the app will randomly lose connection during a backup. Don't use this app!!!

Classic bloatware. Doesn't perform, slowed down the entire system. As bad as the PC software. Avoid!

Continually crashing. I primarily purchased true image for the mobile backup functionality so this makes the whole thing useless.

I've used this for several year, but stopped working since I don't know when... same problem as other reported: stops after about a minute while reporting connection issue. Given the severity of the problem and the lack of response from the developper, I'll look elsewhere

The previous version stopped working in February and came up with the dreaded connection error. Our phones have not been backed up since then. This latest release appears to have sorted the problem but no mention in the notes. Not an acceptable way of working.
