This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Data Usage & Internet Speed on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.

It seems that when doing connection tethering, the instant bandwith usage shown in the Data Speed in notifications is counted at least two times the real mobile data usage (i guess mobile and wifi throughput added toghether). This is a bit confusing because in the case of tethering, the mobile throughput would be of interest, not the wifi. Perhaps displaying two separate throughput counters (mobile and wifi) would be more useful.

I gotta say, one of your other app's great advantage was that it was 2 in 1 and even though you did revert the changes to it, I was still kinda forced to give this one a try considering the issue with the daily counter in CPU-X. So this one doesn't have this issue, hence why I stick to it. One thing I noticed however is that the "Used today" field within the app was showing 4KB Wi-Fi traffic even though Wi-Fi was never even turned on that day. Then seconds later it went up to 6KB and a few more after - down to 5KB. And as I finished writing this it went down to 4KB again. (?) Other than that all I can think of would be notifications upon approaching data limit, customisable ofc. Also, even though one can still somewhat guess based on upload/download, something like a separate graph for hotspot traffic would be nice.

Great app but Giving 3 stars because i have to run the app after every restart to see speed notifications. Also junk cleaner kills the app even after I remove it from the list.

I installed this app today and it seems there is no notification when I'm approaching my plans limit. Also there is currently a bug in "Data Display". I used the app the whole day on mobile and had only 1 bar for the day in the statistics. After adding a WiFi plan (which I don't need) and going back to "Data Display" the other bars showed up. It would be nice to display 0.nnn MB values like on the left hand scale and not 0MB when you swipe over the bars and the consumption value is below 1 MB.

It's nice and it does what it's​ supposed to do, but it would be nice if you could add a feature that shows the data usage notification that auto starts at boot and this app would be perfect

This app helps you to monitor daily and monthly data usage for mobile and wifi plan. It alerts you when data usage reaches near plan limit and when plan validity is about to expire. You can also monitor current internet speed in app and in notification bar.

FEATURES

• You can setup Mobile or WiFI plan for your device ( limited or unlimited ) with adjusted already consumed data.

• You can monitor data usage ( in percent of limit and graphical representation ) and validity ( remaining days before
plan expire )

• App will alert you when data usage of either plan reaches over 90 % of limit ( if plan is limited ).
