About this app

Aardvark Ballistic Calc Lite is your firing solution for making shots out to a thousand yards. If you are into shooting extremely long range please purchase the full feature version of Aardvark Ballistic Calculator but this Lite version is perfect for most shooters that make most of their shots at medium range.

The calculator is simple to use and simulates the ballistic trajectory of your shot, given variables that you input. Icons help you find the variable you need in a hurry.

The following inputs are supported:

-G1 and G7 drag coefficients. This is the Ballistic Coefficient of the bullet usually given on an ammo box.

-Scope Height. This is the offset of the scope center from the barrel center. Can be input as; centimeters, millimeters, or inches.

-Zero Distance. This is the distance that the rifle hits bull's-eye. Can be input as; meters, feet, or yards.

-Air Temperature. Can be input as Celsius or Fahrenheit.

-Altitude or height above sea level. Can be input as feet or meters.

-Muzzle velocity. Can be input as; feet per second, meters per second, miles per hour, or kilometers per hour.

-Target Distance. Can be input as; meters, feet, or yards.

-Angle to target. This is vertical angle to the target in degrees.

-Wind direction relative to the shooter from where wind comes. This is input as hours on a clock (example 3 o’clock is wind from the right) or degrees (example 90 degrees is wind from the right).

Output is given as adjustment to your aim in: minutes of arc, millradians(mils), centimeters, meters, inches, feet, or yards. Also bullet speed at target and time of flight is given.

The app remembers your previous setting so you can pick up where you left off quickly.

The app is cheap, yet you get a lot of “bang for your buck”.
