The February 2021 Android security patch removed the ability. for apps like Big Font to increase text size beyond 1.3x/2x (depending on your device). This app does great work.... when it works. There is a security patch for April 2021 that will supposedly fix this issue, but there is no, I repeat, NO rollout schedule. I have contacted several phone manufacturers and have asked when the security patch will be applied; however, Google/Android does not supply manufacturers with a rollout schedule. If anybody has some bright ideas about how to effectively call Google Customer Service, please let me know.

I think this is a great app for somebody like me I'm 74 years old diabetic and losing my eyesight with this big print on the font easy to read things that are necessary for me on my phone it was a great job but you did this I appreciate it greatly keep up the good work 😉

I use the app to enlarge text when I don't have my glasses on. Recently an Android OS update prevented text size from going above 130%. The developer answered my emails about this very quickly and has today taken the time to let me know the latest Android OS update fixes this. I'm very grateful and definitely recommend this app.

Feb 2021 Google security patch prevents > 1.3x scaling without root... :-( Thanks Google :-( Would be 5* otherwise... Note not fault of app or developer... But, for me, renders app of more limited use. :-(. w.r.t. author response... yes, but comments are still pertinent. Still broken as of 2021/05 Google Patch... Nokia said would be fixed... NO it's not.

Team after March android security update. Iam unable to select font size more than 1.6x. Getting error "This system disallows to change the system font size to 1.8x". Before this update app was working perfectly. Please help me out. "Team iam using Redmi k20 pro I have contacted the manufacturer (MI India) about April 2021 android security update they are not sure about the release date. They said development team is working on it. Is it possible to fix this issue from your end ?

Hello team, Since the 2021/4 patch this app won't allow me to increase font size beyond 1.3x. It gives an error prompting disallowed by the system. I also tried the android debug bridge way and it didn't work. Please help me out. My mom can't use a phone without this app. It's urgent. Thank you P.s. phone model is Nokia 6.1 Edit: your app worked great until this 2021/04 update/patch. I also have the pro version of this app.
