This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing FiRe mobile-2 on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

About this app

The FiRe mobile-2 application allows installers and maintenance personnel using compatible UTC Fire & Security fire products to perform common configuration and maintenance tasks securely from a mobile device (phones or tablets).

The following one-man walk test (OMWT) and mobile repeater features are supported:

One-man walk test features:
• Create test plans
• Set a zone in test mode
• Check that all detectors in the zone in test are activated (without activating sounders)
• Send the test reports by email

Mobile repeater features:
• View the system status
• View the event log
• Perform basic commands (for example, reset the panel/network, activate or silence sounders, accept notifications from the panel or network, enable or disable devices, panels, zones, etc.)

A demo fire network is provided for evaluation purposes. For connecting to a real fire network, a FiRe server-2 setup is required. Please contact your local distributor for details.
