Well this is one of the disappointing purchases I made that I wish I hadn't bought. I had watched a youtube video, had 7 screens with many features. I paid for it, downloaded and ended up with 4 screens, none of which had the screens that are show here, or on the youtube video I saw. Waste of time.

Using more than a year now. Great app. Say what it does and absolute must have for any Leaf user. Saved me from stalling more than once. Well done LeafSpy team.

Don't waste your money in either of the paid versions. I bought the recommended OBD2 device for the app but the device only connected twice to my phone. Tried deleting then reinstalling the app many times but nothing. Absolutely no support from the developer and it looks like the app hasn't been updated for 2 years now. Google say it's against their terms and conditions to refund the app but the developer doesn't reply. I repeat, don't waste your money, stick with the version.

Leaf spy lite works fine with my pixel 3a and Android 11. Leaf spy pro won't connect or recognise the same Bluetooth adaptor. Shame

Indispensable app for any Leaf owner. The data is highly useful, however the app could do with the input of a UI designer - it's currently not very intuitive for non-technical users, and requires frequently referring to the plaintext user guide, with much scrolling, to learn how to navigate and adjust its UI. Related, it could do with better split screen support too, so it can show vehicle status alongside, say, Google Maps. Right now it can do it, but renders badly with numbers jumping lines and elements getting cut off.

I'm mixed about this app. It does work but not sure I get $25 of value. The UI is pretty ugly and not fluid and the there has been zero updates in the year Ive had it.

About this app

The Leaf Spy Pro application allows anyone with a Nissan Leaf electric vehicle, Android device with Bluetooth and a supported ELM327 OBDII Bluetooth adapter the ability to monitor their battery and other vehicle information normally visible only to the dealer.

With the release of version 0.39.97 LeafSpy Pro now supports two Bluetooth 4.x LE approved adapters. The recommended one is the LELink available from Amazon. Bluetooth 4.x LE has the advantage of not needing to be paired and lower power from both the Android device and the Leaf. The LELink is highly recommended and also works with the iOS version of LeafSpy Pro.

The built-in help file is available as a PDF by sending an email with subject "Android PDF Help" to WattsLeft.meter@gmail.com
