The value of a decibel meter or sound meter(dB meter) is not as precise as an actual Sound Pressure Level Meter(SPL Meter), soundmeter, decibel meter or noise level meter, this is due to most device's microphones being aligned to the human voice.

Sound Meter is also known as a Sound Pressure Level meter (SPL meter), noise level meter, decibel meter(dB meter), sound level meter or soundmeter and the main purpose of this application is to use mobile phones as a detecting device. there are different options available to find sound db values like for noise measuring you can use graph detecting methods second is meter view in which voice frequency will be shown in form of a meter that's we can call this app a Sound meter because it will show dB in meter view.

Microphones in most android devices are aligned to the human voice. The maximum values are limited by the device. Very loud sounds(over ~90 dB) may not be recognized in the most devices. So please use it as just an additional tool. If you need more accurate dB values, we recommend an actual sound level meter for that.
