Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Reh@Mote on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.

About this app

Reh@Mote is a mobile app for smartphones and tablets running Android OS for transmitting (via UDP) the available sensor data of the phone to the RehabNet CP or any other software compatible with the RehabNet protocol. Additionally, RehaMote can receive data via UDP for bidirectional communication of the phone with the CP or a Virtual Environment available online: http://neurorehabilitation.m-iti.org/tools/.

Phone data is streamed over UDP to any application that is able to read a UDP socket with the following structure:

[$]device_type,[$$]device_name,[$$$]data_type,data_name,X,Y,Z,P;
