This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing PringleAPI on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. About this app

PringleAPI is a platform that streamlines web and mobile development by allowing the consumers to manage their content in one place and have a service API exposed to be consumed by either a web or mobile application. Currently the services permitted are location, digital menu and news.

Location service allows for users to get a geo location information based on country code and postal code. Most forms on the web ask for city, state, postal code and country. By using this service city and state are automatically populated by entering a postal code.

Digital menu service allows for restaurant owners to manage their menu in one place and the menu could be rendered via REST API calls for publishing the menu to their corporate site, marketing sites (facebook, google plus, foursquare, yelp, urbanspoon) and in store displays.

News service allows for customers to manage their news articles in one place and the articles could be rendered via REST API calls to for publishing on their corporate site or any other web or mobile site.
