I had to call 8 times to get a level 2 tech and after a week of run a round she said my dvr is NO good and I would need to buy a new one to get my camera's to work on my phone. Every time I had a problem I was told that I had to get a NEW dvr. I will never buy another product from nightowl again. When the system worked it was awesome, but the dvr is no good in less then two years. What a joke.💩💩💩💩

The laziest company and product support ever! You invest your time and money into their products which ultimately fail you. You would think their software developers would continue to update their ancient p.o.s apps after so many user complaints but no ofcourse not nightowl who shows you that they simply do not care. Point of having security cameras on your home that you can't remotely view? Garbage, useless junk provided by the worst of them all, Nightowl.

Not updated in 4 years and won't work on Android 5 or higher phones. It just says 'Buffering' forever. It did work fine on my old 4.4 phone. So it's pretty much a dead app. You can download the app called "MEye", it works on Nightowl DVR's. I got a new phone with 5.1.1 and not the app no longer works. It displays blank screens for each camera even though it says Playing and its downloading the video stream. On my old phone with 4.1 or 4.4 it worked fine. I emailed nightowl support 2 years ago about an update and never got a response.
