I've only had my 2012 Volt for a couple if months now and really enjoy driving it. As an Engineer, I find this app very interesting. As a nerd I like all kinds of data. The only thing I would add at this point is I'd like to see the number of miles on the current charge along with the 80% and Full Charge times on the popup window.

I got a check engine light and obd P0315 which req'd the dealer to reset (crankshaft position learn). I used a known good elm327 bt reader. More trouble than worth for me. N = 1. YMMV

I love this app. It has 95 of the information I need from the Volt. Two things it needs. Power remaining in the battery and tracking charging costs. I created my own app for charge costs but need to us the my Chev app to get battery remainder. Would be great if this app has it all.

Considering the proprietary nature of General Motors this is quite an amazing app much props goes to the original developer. Just recently diagnosed a 12 volt battery issue, for free, without the stealership. You sire are a hero we do not deserve.

I love it if gives you access to your consumption figures, temperature and soc. I wish it had diagnosis capabilities so as to check battery health. But, it's the best app in the market and for the price you can't beat it!

I've had this cheap low profile OBD2 reader that I've used for over a year on my truck plugged it in and it works perfect here
