This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing LaView Plus on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

My nexus7 updated yesterday and the original laview app stopped working. I've been screwing around with this and several other apps since. No luck. This app asks for a username, the old app did not. I've tried every combination of username, password, and device id with no success. Will just have to wait for some new update.

I had a older version app of Laview and it stopped working and crashing. I downloaded this current app and it worked perfectly till last week. It won't connect to my dvr anymore. Everything is correct (ip address and password) I hate this! I'm just going to buy another competitors dvr and replace laviews dvr. Perfectly SUCKS!

For the most part it connects and shows the live view fine. On occasion it gets a bit flakey... but force closing the app or rebooting the phone usually fixes it. On playback the controls are coarse it is really hard to scroll to a precise time... I usually end up within a minute or two of where I am trying to go. The clipping function seems like it starts actually clipping about 15-30 seconds after I hit the button... between that and the coarse scrolling it is really hard to clip the section I want.

Won't connect when away from my house, on 4g or any other WiFi just my house. App worked fine for about 2 months then just wont connect.

Worst customer service. Use app called neostar. It looks like this app just works flawless

I personally won't buy another LaView product EVER .... So annoyed! Software will work for a month and then BOOM .. won't work for 5 months ... I'm fed up!!!!!! And they don't care..this has been happening for 2 years now .. No support!!
