Edit: So after a few days, it appears that Laview got an authentication server to shake hands with the updated app. It works, but nothing about this update improved performance for me. I do not recommend this company to buyers. /edit Today's update destroyed all app functionality. This outcome is detrimental to my business. I cannot express my displeasure strongly enough in words.

The camera system itself is very nice. This app however, is lacking in so many departments it's ridiculous. Remote viewing is choppy, even on a 100Mb connection. Cannot change options. Playback of recordings is bad, just bad. Update: Remote viewing stopped working. Please listen to your users and FIX IT!

Worked great until the latest update. Can't even log in after I put my password in to log in it says I'm not logged in though it accepted my username and password. Tried readding my cameras and it won't accept them. Says I have network exceptions. I get in touch with the people and they're telling me to download another app to make this one work. New update and the doesn't even explain what's changed other than the fact it stopped working. Once these cameras quit working I will never buy another from these people. They're a joke.

Just like everyone else, I get the network exception. I thought it was my phone at first. Finally after seeing the review to download the la view one app, at least I can see the cameras and that app works ok. I wish I never updated, the old version was perfect. Hopefully they get it fixed.

Like everyone else, at some point after this app was updated, remote viewing (Laview P2P) no longer works (all i get is "network exceptions"). I got one stock response from Laview tech support, then crickets. Laview is clearly aware of this issue, but evidently making no attempt to address it. Like others mentioned, the Laview One app, while far from ideal, at least (currently) works with remote viewing, so using that as a workaround for now. Motion detection at night is all false positives.
