This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Phido Wireless IP Camera on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. I hope you have additional feature like phido with mic/audio. I'm glad to use this app.

"Phido can be run as a background process i.e. there is no need for Phido to be in the foreground in order to continue streaming" No it can not. For an IP camera program this is fast and easy to get up and running. And if it was described as such this would be a 5 star application. Android now does not let the camera be accessed without drawing on the screen.

Beware. App does not work and J Valley refuses refund. Screen reads: Internal error, please try again shortly. If the problem persist, please contact our support. Support told me that they were working on it over a month ago. Really? Wait for how many months?
