InvenTree is a one-of-a-kind map-based virtual inventory of trees that also brings multiple tools dedicated towards aiding in and promoting tree plantation, right at your fingertips. Be it an avid environmentalist who is passionate about learning about the ecosystem monetary benefits and hosting his own plantation drive, a beginner in the world of planting who requires intelligent suggestions on what to plant and wants to join the environmentalist’s drive, or simply a curious person willing to look around at the trees in his/her locality to judge where we lack, InvenTree proves to be advantageous for all our users. Yes, we are mad over trees, and we hope you become so too!

Humankind is staring down the barrel of shotgun: the worst effects of climate change will become irreversible post 2030. The most substantial glimmer of hope lies in planting trees and promoting urban forestry, and this very glimmer drove two high schoolers, Arnav Ghatiwala and Nirbhay Narang, to create InvenTree from scratch. Both as a database and as a tool, every feature on InvenTree revolves around the lungs of our Earth.
