I had re rated this program well because I thought they had fixed the issue of it becoming inactive. Not sure if when rebooting or what but tried the app again and still having that issue so downgrading again.

This worked fine for my samsung galaxy note 2 . You have to lock individual volumes say ringer,music,system volumes etc.. separately,It is nice app.

Volume Lock Control - volume locker
Volume control is a very useful app in order to adjust the sound.
There is a separate lock function for each volume, I will prevent unintended sound will change.
