Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Breaker on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.
  4. Wait a few seconds for the installation to complete. Once done, the installed app will appear on the BlueStacks home screen. Click its icon to start using the application.

Using LDPlayer

  1. Download and install LDPlayer from https://www.ldplayer.net.

About this app

Breaker's goal is to obtain output of maximum work. Our algorithm allows you perfectly-timed breaks between study/work periods to display optimal efficiency. When you press "go" to start your session, settings will disappear and the screen will turn dark,
Occasionally lighting up to remind you that the phone is still in work mode. Exit out of this app and you will have "given-up". Stay in and once the ring turns green, the app will give you a break, allowing you to use your phone as desired. When your break is up, app will prompt you and you must return back to this app, or else it will be an automatic give-up.

Our features:
User Interface: Seamless timer, just like the clock app implemented
- App will turn red and slowly fade to green until next break
- Break occurs (time not decided yet)
- When break should be over, you have to go back to the app
- After 5 minutes, it will auto give up and it will be accounted for

Give Up feature
Each study session records the number of times you have exited the timer session.
If app starts running in the background, it will auto give up (you click the home button)
sleep turns to never so it doesn’t sleep

Rewards and Motivation
For every study session you achieve, you get an undo pass, where if you accidently press the home button, or give up, you remove a give up from your total giveups
