It has the LED light, but it also has an adjustable timer function to turn itself off, should it ever get turned on accidentally. You can disable the timer. Either way you can turn the light on and off by touching the screen. It also allows using the screen as a light with a drag bar to temporarily adjust the screen brightness without changing your phone settings. It remembers app settings. The only permission the app requires to is the camera, so should be safe from malware problems. A elegant App!

Love that there's a timer so it's not left on accidentally. It's also great for if I just need a bright screen real quick.

How to Use:
To enable or disable the camera flash, touch anywhere on the screen background and adjust the timer slider (3 - 100 seconds). To turn off the timer, move the slider all the way to the right. With the timer off you can even use the camera light within other apps. Closing the app in this state will turn off the flash light.

To use the front light just slide the Screen Brightness slider to the desired brightness; then press the front light button if you want to use the entire screen. To unhide the interface just press anywhere on the screen.

This app doesn't require a camera flash to function, the adjustable screen light will work for every device. The Screen light is adjustable from completely black to full brightness of your screen. Both front and back lights can be used seperately and at the same time.
