This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Stocktake on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.

About this app

This app makes the tedious stocktake job much easier and fun while keeping up with the accuracy.

Basically it involves looking up the product from a inventory stock report by just scanning the product SKU or ID and allowing you to input the physical count or manual count on the shelf on go, (Do not worry if you don't have inventory report with you, the app allows you to manually enter the product information) then it compares stock-on-hand with the manual count to calculate the variance.

If you would like to do a quick stock count without using a look up inventory report you can do that as well. In this case the app allows you to enter the product information manually on go.

You have on screen stock reports as well as you can PRINT, EMAIL and SAVE variance reports.
