Slow unresponsive app. Keeps shutting down when attempting functions such as firmware updating locks.

Flaky, buggy, broken. Works under ideal circumstances. Connectivity is flaky making it difficult to unlock quickly when out of range for a while; like after a flight which seems like the most common use case. Service annoying remains in notification bar all the time. App crashes if you try to enable high security mode. It seems like this product isn't finished, but it's a few years old, so my hopes for fixes are limited.

Setting up the AirBolts has been a long process for me. I have an iPad and a Samsung. I had to have support set up a password for me because the android wouldn't let me create one and the ipad app wouldn't work at all. Then I couldn't update the password to one of my own. Evidently the version on Apple App store is outdated and I had to update the software to get it to work. Finally, the password update from the iPad let me change it. I couldn't get the backdoor password to work either. Evidently if you start the backdoor password with the Left button, it won't work unless the app is open in the tablet/phone. Reason, that's how you open the airbolt manually when the app is active so you don't have to do it from the tablet/phone app. Standard, just hit the left button and the airbolt will unlock. If was difficult to change all airbolts because some were recognized from the android app and some from the iPad app. I communicated with support through out this ordeal. They were very responsive but I figured out most problems myself. BUT, I needed two different tablets/phones to do it. One very annoying thing is the apps only display in portrait and not landscape.

I just received a set of 3 Airbolts about a week ago. I am totally disappointed in this product. It works when it feels like it. I took it to the gym to use on my locker and the damned thing did not want to connect. I feel like I wasted this money on a product that does NOT DELIVER. If you're thinking about one of these airbolts-Don`t bother. Inferior product.

I was shipped a faulty airlock, which I get - sometimes defects happen. But this app that goes with the lock? Just.. why.. If you close the app while running in the background, you'll lose connection to the lock. Rather than running the app as a background service like every other Bluetooth device does (Fitbit, JBL, etc.), they've made it so that closing the app kills the airbolt service which kills the connection to the lock. It misbehaves and has to be restarted repeatedly to regain connection

waist of money. device not works properly. i bouhht 3 of these and im furious. it doesn't work as it shuld, nor described, act wired out of control. Bluetooth synks forever after paired. is good only with key combinations function. the rest is garbage. **************************************** Dear airbolt support i did contact you with my concerns and frustrations i regard to ur not disclosed international shipment took 1month to deliver and defected dysfunctional items. You choose to ignore.
