About this app

Rocket brilliantly handles the complex and intricate task of interfacing with Yodo's payment Switch. Rocket has been designed to allow any third party POS app to include support for YodoPAY as a mobile payment process. Merchants may choose our own cloud based POS application YODOPOS also found in the PLAY store or the POS app of their choice. Any POS app with integrated Rocket support is able to accept YodoPAY as a payment method from the client side mobile payment apps found both here on the Play Store and on Apple's iTunes. Rocket also supports Feature phones and inexpensive pre-paid and gift cards. For example Rocket, and any of the POS applications which have integrated it into their apps including theYodoFare app, also found in the Play Store can share payment media.
Rocket is distributed freely but serves no independent purpose and will not operate until an activation code issued only to registered merchants has been used to activate the software. Please contact Yodo for the particulars of becoming a registered Yodo Merchant at the e-mail listed below. Once a merchant has entered into a Merchant Agreement with Yodo, they will also have access to the Merchant Web Services site, to manage and report on all their POS device(s). In the case of Merchants wishing to use third party POS applications to accept and process Yodo mobile payments, both an activated Rocket and the third party POS application must be installed on the POS device.
Rocket facilitates all the powerful features of Yodo's mobile payment product; linking or sharing of accounts for money transfers, remittance, micro loans (children's allowances), control of content delivery via Y-Beacon, real time foreign currency acceptance, bridging of real world to e-commerce "cash" payments, in App summary reporting and choice of scanner for payment credential capture. Rocket uses Visidon's facial recognition code under license from Visidon Ltd. of Finland and Scandit's scan code under license from Scandit Inc.of Switzerland.
