Always appreciate an intuitive app that does what I need, first try. Needed to rename a file, that has an unwanted random 12 character prefix and unwanted html url encoding suffix. Rename my Files regex pattern handled the prefix and standard pattern handled the suffix. Rename my Files has a preview mode so I could review before the actual rename. And Rename my Files has a rename history. Thanks Devππ½ Bought Pro.

Pro: I like its "command syntax" best. I can define a string replacement, then edit the recipe to point it at various folders. It has been essential to me. (I never use schedules!) Con: it seems a little slow, ~2-10 files/sec, depending. If I specify 'subfolders', & point it at a major folder with 2000+ files, I must wait minutes just for the pre-run survey. (Is it possible that working via the Android filesystem cannot go faster?) But, I use it anyway.

Tried several apps to find one which would allow me to rename a lot of files easily to remove specific character strings from filenames. This app did so perfectly in a safe and reversible way, especially love the preview functionality.
