I can't understand how to use it. I download the app then go to main menu, click the icon and see all the controllers but when I adjust it there's no sound coming out. Is this a scam app?

Application works extremely well to silence EVERYTHING on my phone! I looked at several applications, most would silence phone & media, but I'd still have audible calendar alarms. This application actually does silence everything; it also works for adjusting volumes of individual applications. The widget doesn't always work so I've just deleted it, the application icon is smaller than the widget was anyway. Important to note, even though the application download is called "EasyVolume," it shows up on the phone as "Volume Control." I'm new to Android so maybe this is more common than I realize, but it's the first time I've seen that discrepancy.
