total rubbish wont connect to network update managed to get the app on old Sony L1 and get it to work if you go on Google on laptop you can see what device is compatible what you have owned lucky we still had it so the app needs to be updated for newer phones

Solved! As with many of us, the hub won't connect to newer phones. It used to work on my old Galaxy S7 but not on S10+. So all I did was use Samsung Smart Switch to send the AW1 app to send the app from my S7. So if you have an old phone lying about, set up AW1 on that first then send it to your new phone. Apart from this, a great alarm system.

The app was always pretty ugly and clunky when I first got it back in 2016, but it sort of worked. 4 years later and the notifications no longer work. £300 worth of alarm system that no longer does anything because it relies on the app to work. Thanks a lot!

Very poor app. 1. When setting up the system, on iOS it doesn't work at all. On Android it takes several attempts before the configuration is pushed to the control unit. 2. If you want to add additional users, you have to repeat the same process used to set up the system, going through unnecessary steps which easily fall (see previous point) Once the control unit is configured, things go better and the apps does what it's supposed to do but with frequent drop outs from the control unit.

Rubbish, almost impossible to set up and no push notification set up options. To be avoided. Update August 2020. Moved house and same issue unable to connect to new network. The alarm is good if and when you can get it to work but this app is utter garbage and should be removed from Play Store as it is not fit for purpose. Just keeps sending you round in a loop fro AW1 alarm wifi and back to app and will not allow you to enter your new network name and password.

This app worked well on my old SONY phone. Now have a new one, L10 and it will not work at all. Says it is connected but no internet. Seem to have now completely mucked up the alarm unit as well. Did try connecting via my house internet but the wifi light just flashed all the time. After a while ended up with the AW1 sounding an alarm. At the moment would not recommend using this app at all. Also not sure that ERA know hoe to work around the problem
