This tool has potential. I tried the javascript but documentation not clear enough. I tried jquery doesn't work and even some plain js keyword like document and console doesn't work. Everything you want to display formatted need to be stored in variables before it's usable. It took a lot of effort just to format a simple json with 10 fields into normal field value rows. I wanted to use the json to create alarm but doesn't work because android requires the SET_ALARM permisson. Hope to consider.

Could you please forward more details to tasker (on shortcut execution using tasker)? E.g. response code, cookies, headers, response lengths etc just like taskers native http requests do.

Smooth, ad-free, highly customizable, support for industry-standard generic authentication systems, built-in scripting capabilities, and more. what's not to love? I use this app to do a plethora of different REST-based triggers on my homelab servers, as well as various other tasks on 3rd party APIs like Cloudflare, HIPB, and more, and it handles it seamlessly.

Wow! This app works great with the Hubitat Smart Hub, allowing me to create shortcut icons on my phone's home screen to turn on/off lights and monitor devices (through the use of Hubitat's Maker API app). Love the javascript capability which allows extensive programming. Thanks for such a great (and ad free) utility!

The perfect app for sending commands via shortcuts to the ESP_Easy. Fast, reliable and with many configuration options available. Only one issue on my Huawei pro20: when using shortcuts on the home screen, if I press any shortcut it automatically goes to the screen where I have the main app icon. To fix it I had to place the app icon on the same screen where I have the shortcuts.

About this app

Place shortcuts (widgets) on your home screen to submit HTTP(S) requests to all your favorite RESTful APIs, webservices and other URL resources. Great for home automation projects!

Build powerful workflows by dynamically injecting values into the request through global variables or by adding JavaScript code snippets to process the HTTP response.

This app is open source, find it on Github: https://github.com/Waboodoo/HTTP-Shortcuts. It's also completely free and contains no ads, because who wants those anyway.
