Just what I was looking for. Hopefully, the author will add some settings, such as choise of alert sound, volume, frequency of ping, type of notification and perhaps even multiple targets for monitoring - hint :)

Needed this to see when my router would die or the ping would spike randomly for no reason... however if the app had a graphing feature it would be much much better :-)

It would be perfect If useful. Since this is for a mobile phone there are
often timeouts and so it beeps all the time. If one could specify the
timeout in seconds or at least allow not just slow ping but much slower
like 30 seconds or 60 or more , then it would be very useful.

The ability for the phone to sound an audible and visual alarm when a specific network device or gateway is either available or not is very useful. I wish the app could remember the IP address between launches, but kudos to this developer!

Will call the alarm no matter the setting or the device status.
