So many things to hate about this app. Can only start the car twice through the app before being told have to do it in the car (I hate this so much). Remotely locking the doors never works. Why can you not check whether doors are locked through the app (seems to me that this would be very simple). This app is a perfect example of offering something just for the sake of being able to say you offer it with no intention of having it be useful.

The interface is slow on my pixel 7 pro and the amount of time it takes to send commands is to long. I wish my fob still had a button to start/stop. Also a max of 10 minutes of running time seems low especially if you live in a region that experiences winter. Can only remotely start your car twice before having to physically start it. Why is Subaru dictating how I use the features in the car I own!

App works about 80% of the time, but a simple close and reopen or sending the command again usually fixes it. However, I have had it say fail when, in fact, did work. I wish you could see the fuel level (only shows the KM remaining and mileage [l/100km]). Also, I would love to see an Android Wear app and/or be able to set a voice command for remote start.

The most used feature should give us a nice quick start. Which is not convenient at all as I can not set a custom setting. If I want my settings I have to jump through multiple menus to get to then along with an another password just to start my car. Make it easy please. Subaru, it should be a simple programming fix to allow a saved custom setting be bound to the quick start button. Will update rating when that is addressed.

My biggest issue is multiple password requests are made when you are within the app, which don't recognize your saved fingerprint, even though it gives you the option . Why you can't use your fingerprint to log in on the home screen (or just keep you logged in in the first place) and have that be that is beyond me. Remote engine start is a great idea when it's a click of a button, not when it's navigate 4 pages and enter your password 3 times. They lost the forest for the trees on this.

This application is an example of what large companies do to try to keep up with the competition while investing as little as possible. There are so many flaws that it is almost indescribable. It is completely non-intuitive...and the error messages it produces are not informative nor complete in such a way as to actually correct an error. There is little embedded assistance. Unfortunately, this is consistent with Subaru's lack of attention to the other electronic devices in the car. Their use of Tom Tom which requires a Sirius subscription to get traffic information is a good example. I would rather use Waze or Google Maps. At least they work despite having to pay for the bandwidth. I wouldn't have this if there were other 3rd party apps that worked. Too bad there are not as a good one would probably be very popular. If I could give 0 as a score, I wouild.
